The Protect magnetic frame makes it possible to keep its interior humidity at a constant level. For sensitive exhibits this offers ideal climatic conditions, which can be realised regardless of the outside environment. Absolute sealing of the frame is achieved by a patented closure system which, equipped with innovative pop-up seals, balances different insert thicknesses and guarantees an airtight fit to the glass. Buffer materials such as corrugated cardboard, background cardboard and a special silica gel regulate the relative humidity on the inside. An aluminium plate serves as a diffusion barrier, and a circumferential seal locks the frame. An electronic thermohygrometer is visible/operated from the outside. It exercises control and constantly provides information on inside temperature and humidity. A data logger can also be integrated to analyse and document climatic development.
