Lechuza-Delta
Planter

Cultural bearer
Indoor plants such as the rubber fig or the exotic banana tree, “rediscovered” only over the last couple of years, are subject to fashion just as much as luminaires, newspaper stands or chests of drawers. As a part of the interior they contribute to improve the room climate, filtering pollutants out of the air. In order to match indoor environments, not only the plants themselves but the planters too have to be just as useful and attractive as they present a consistent and contemporary look. With its soft and almost cubist lines, the design of the high and slender Lechuza-Delta planter is highly complementary in this respect. Its well-balanced language of form gives it an appearance of self-confidence – a planter becomes an appealing column within a living space. An essential aspect of the design of this “planted sculpture” is its functionally thought-out plant liner that makes both planting and transportation of the plants easier. The liner is highly stable and can be taken out of the outside column. When changing plantings, the liner thus can be transported on its own without the planter. Through this innovative characteristic, the planter becomes particularly interesting also for professionals who, due to this type of construction, can work more effectively. The mature functionality of this planter is further complemented by a frame handle that is well integrated into its form: It pulls out and serves to lift the inner plant liner holding the heavy plants out of the planter. After use, these frame handles add a decorative element of design, giving the Lechuza-Delta an even greater degree of elegance as an ornamental frame. With its clear and sculptural shape, this planter allows for various arrangements and exquisite plantings – a cultural bearer with style.
