The square-shaped recessed downlights of the Athenik LED series reveal a straight-lined structure designed for highest formal demands. A zinc die-cast ring with shadow gap forms the perfect ceiling closure and serves to accommodate a wide variety of accessories. The control gear box provides a formal functionality on its own and, when combined with the luminaire body, creates a powerful unit of modern light. 16 "option-code" colour-stabilised power-LEDs with an individual performance of three watts and a total photometric performance equalling that of an 18-watts compact fluorescent lamp create a surreal, high-tech illuminated environment. The discreet metallic silver-grey decorative components underline the design, which is both forward-looking and timeless.
