The design of the TA-FVX2 cordless steam iron focuses on an impression of lightness, emphasising the high degree of user-friendliness as well. The design meets the demand for small-sized steam irons as the primary market trend in Japan. The TA-FVX2 was developed as a luxury model of a cordless steam iron for household use. The design thus focused in particular on the task to give the metal surface for ironing as well as the other parts a reliable impression. The colours chosen for the unit are black and white exclusively so as to yield a clean impression and to emphasise its high value. The open handle bar, characteristic design element of the Toshiba steam irons, additionally facilitates the handling of the iron.
