This humidifier follows a new concept in air treatment. The airflow is guided over a floating evaporator pad, which allows an almost constant release of moisture regardless of the water level. Special attention was devoted to designing a unit that is easily and intuitively operated. By a funnel-shaped filling port at the upper part the humidifier can easily be filled from above with a watering can. The evaporator pad in the device is wetted with water so that the humidifier is ready for use immediately after filling. The top of the floating evaporator pad also acts as water level indicator. A ring-shaped filling level limit signals the user when the maximum water level is reached. Interacting matt and glossy surfaces give the device its characteristic appearance. High-gloss surfaces indicate the “flowing” and “streaming” of air and water.
