With this tea maker, tea can be brewed in two different ways. One can let the tealeaves float freely in the water, holding them back with the filter when pouring a cup, or one can put the tealeaves in the filter and once the tea has brewed for long enough, fully depress the plunger. Functional innovations of the tea brewer are, besides the patented filter system, a flip-top lid automatically opening up when pouring a cup, as well as a patented, drop-free spout. An aesthetic as well as functional innovation is a neoprene cover to keep the tea warm.
