The functionally designed cutting board allows to cut food and let it slide into the pan without spilling anything. It is easy to lift and designed with different colours for different foods. The cutting board takes into consideration that, with smaller cutting boards, the food will fall off sideways when trying to slide it into the pan. This polypropylene cutting board however is curved on both sides to prevent this from happening, making it easier to lift as well. The two colours can be used to remind the user what sort of food was cut on which side: poultry on one side, vegetables on the other. In this way, cross-contamination with salmonella is prevented.
