For the task assignment to conceive a new corporate design, the designers chose the annual Burning Man Festival in the desert of Nevada and met the task with a strikingly typographic solution. The design approach consists of creating a solid scope for the event which, at the same time, stays open enough to allow the versatile artists to express themselves freely. To demonstrate the individuality of the festival, a headline font of its own was created for the specific topic changing every year. With its somewhat inaccessible and code-like character, it is supposed to augment the already existing community concept.
