As a family business, the von Rotz company operates several bakery and patisserie shops in central Switzerland. Its customers appreciate the assortment of bakery products without additives and the refined patisserie range. The rebranding focuses on the business philosophy “Genuine and good” in combination with a handdrawn logotype as well as selected corporate colours. The particularly bulky letterforms of the striking logotype are supposed to indicate the value of rustic nutrition, while the cordiality of the family business is emphasised with a classic French serif typeface as well as a geometric, grotesque face for the body text. Both typefaces and the use of a dark colour scheme underline a traditional company attitude.
