The media-specific appearance of the 31. Literature Festival of Solothurn aims at pulling literature off of its restrictive elite context and inviting a larger public to the event in a playful way. The objective was to visualise a structuring of the event in terms of content. The concise colour system facilitating orientation and, at the same time, pointing to intellectual exchange as essential motive is based on the cultural diversity of the event. Moreover, the exclusive use of literary excerpts as means of design attracts attention.
