Remo Caminada

Remo Caminada, born in 1974 in Vrin, Switzerland, trained, amongst others, as a draughtsman specialised in structural engineering before he started his studies of interaction design in 2001 at the University of Design and Art in Zürich. In 2002, he switched to the visual design course and graduat-ed in 2006. While still a student he worked, among others, at Sean Perkins’s North Design and James Goggin’s Practise studio, both in London. Later he founded his own design offices based in the Swiss Sagogn, in Amsterdam and in Zürich. Remo Caminada has received many international awards, such as at Die schönsten Schweizer Bücher, the 1st Chicago International Poster Biennial (Gold Medal), Golden Bee 8 – Moscow International Biennial of Graphic Design (Grand Prix), Warsaw International Poster Biennale, as well as an red dot design award.
