Designing Success! – red dot in China

In view of China’s constantly growing importance as a location for creative minds, red dot wants to send a clear signal for outstanding design on the occasion of the “Third China International Industrial Design Expo” in Shunde: By the “Designing Success – red dot in China“ exhibition from 16 to 19 September, red dot will present selected winners of the red dot award: product design 2010.

Beside the exhibition, a business forum will provide an adequate platform, on which ideas and experiences can be exchanged on a professional level, while other activities will give the opportunity to socialise and foster  valuable relationships.

By an exhibition and an organised design and business forum, selected red dot winners will be given the exclusive opportunity to gain access to this very promising growth market: In the past few years China has evolved into an attractive business location with excellent preconditions and great international potential. In the southeast of the country the Pearl River Delta succeeded in establishing itself as the most important centre of the manufacturing industry. Thanks to the successful symbiosis of Chinese tradition and western modernity rapid economic growth was registered. The Shunde municipality constitutes the core of this urban agglomeration.
