Fabrice Peltier, who won a design competition launched by the UNESCO in 1970 at the age of nine, studied graphic design and founded the P’Référence design agency, specialised in packaging design, in 1985 in Paris. The internationally renowned expert strives for more sustainable and eco-friendly packaging; he regularly publishes special press articles and, among others, published the book “Eco-design – chemins verteux” which received the European Environmental Design Award. In 2003 he was involved in setting up the Institut National du Design Packaging (INDP), of which he is president, and in 2008 he established the Designpack Gallery in Paris. Fabrice Peltier gives lectures in regular inter- vals, teaches at the Strate Collège Designers (University for Industrial Design), and in 2009 he was appointed expert for packaging design to the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO).
