DMI cooperation

The new year is off to a good start: All entrants to the red dot award: product design 2011 are given the opportunity to benefit from a recently initiated cooperation between red dot and the American Design Management Institute. You will receive an exclusive 50% discount on the membership fee for the internationally leading organisation for design management.

The Design Management Institute was founded in 1975 at the Massachusetts College of Art in Boston; and one year later the first Design Management Conference took place. Besides further initiatives, seminars, and training programmes, the continual expansion of the conference programme on an international scale as well as the regular publication of the internationally renowned “Design Management Review” have ensured that the DMI is considered the most important professional organisation for design management today.

In addition to global networking with designers, experts, scientists, and top-level executives from all industrial sectors, a DMI membership provides access to the institute’s comprehensive online data base with hundreds of articles, case studies, and videos of DMI conferences. Furthermore, members will receive discounts and special privileges when attending conferences, workshops, and seminars.

Thanks to the cooperation between red dot and the Design Management Institute, all registered entrants to the red dot award: product design 2011 who are interested in a DMI membership can claim a 50% discount at www.dmi.org/reddot, thus paying an annual membership fee of only $200 instead of $400.
