On 2 July 2013, the red dot design museum in Essen, Germany, is hosting a seminar on the subject “New production forms and innovative materials for design and architecture”. An international audience is invited to exchange their experiences in the field of new production processes and innovative materials. Therefore, designers, architects, engineers and material developers around the world are called upon to apply with their papers for their chance to become a speaker and give insights into the latest developments and their projects. MINI's great performance at the red dot design museum
The British Embassy Berlin is currently self-promoting the UK with an innovative campaign. Under the slogan “This is Great”, a MINI exclusively branded with the Union Jack is touring in Germany and heading for interesting places with a connection to Great Britain. There is no question that a visit at the red dot design museum in Essen also was on the list – mind you the building was reconstructed into a museum by the British star architect Lord Norman Foster.
