Ulf Berlin from Sweden first studied civil engineering, journalism and English, before he, in 1992, started his educational training as designer at the Graphic Institute in Stockholm. Berlin initially worked as freelance designer, later as design manager of Magazine Design. In 1998, after all, together with André Hindersson he founded the Swedish brand and design agency "Silver". Within the past few years, Silver has developed from a small creative office to a reliable partner for Swedish as well as international clients, without losing its creative character. Among the agency’s clients are large international companies such as H&M, Kraft, Saab and Pernod Ricard as well as also small innovative brands like René Voltair (organic food) or cultural organizations such as the Stockholm City Theatre or the Royal Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra. From the very beginning Silver belonged to the leading brand agencies in the field of digital design. Ulf Berlin is board member of the Swedish Design Association and has been regularly active as juror for the most important Swedish design competitions. With his work he has won a great number of awards himself also, including the "Epica", "Excellent Swedish Design", "Guldägget", the "red dot design award" and the "Resumé Trade Magazine Award" as "Best Design Agency".
