For more than four decades now, Belgian Rowland Heming has been designing brands and packaging. He started his career in several international design offices, until he started his own Brussels-based design studio "Pineapple Design" in 1978. Among his customers were companies such as Procter & Gamble, Unilever, Nestlé, Kraft or Coca-Cola. In 2004 Pineapple Design entered into a strategic alliance with Mildberry Moscow, Heming became Group Creative Director. In 2007, eventually, Pineapple Design became part of "Design Board Brussels/Sofia". Design Board is a merger of experienced brand and packaging designers, who are internationally successful as design consultants with Design Board. Moreover, Rowland Heming is working as lecturer for packaging design at several Belgian universities, lectures worldwide and is committed to the PDA (Pan European Brand Design Association), the co-founder of which and former president he is.
