Presentation of the red dot award: communication design 2003
Awards ceremony and exhibition opening on Friday, 14 November 2003
The 2003 red dot awards for communication design are to be presented a few days from now – a celebration of outstanding design and designers. This year, once again, this special day will be a source of influential stimulus and the scene of interesting meetings with guests from the fields of design, culture, politics and trade and industry. Be sure not to miss it!
The proceedings start with a reception at the red dot design museum in the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage listed buildings on the site of the former Zollverein colliery in Essen at 18.00 hrs.
The reception is followed at 18.30 hrs. by the awards ceremony. The congratulatory address in honour of the winner of the "red dot award: grand prix" will be given by Prof. Uwe Loesch (Bergische Universität Wuppertal).
The special exhibition of the award winning entries in the "red dot award: communication design 2003", providing a current cross-section of top achievements in international communication design, will then be opened. At the same time all the award winning work will be featured in the communication design section of this website.
These achievements will also be documented in the International Communication Design Yearbook 2003/2004, published to coincide with the awards ceremony. You can order the yearbook here direct for it to be sent to you immediately on publication.
We look forward to seeing you at the awards ceremony, a very special evening spent in company with guests from the fields of design, culture, politics and trade and industry to which you are most cordially invited. Please confirm that you will be attending:
