A&E Design AB

A&E Design, one of the leading industrial design consultancies in Sweden, was founded in 1968 by Tom Ahlström and Hans Ehrich, both of whom had previously studied design and metalworking at Konstfackskolan in Stockholm. A&E Design is renowned for its innovative product development, including rigorous working models, prototypes and mock-ups, all produced in the company’s own model work shop. A&E Design’s product ideas are extremely competitive; the famous Jordan dishwashing brush, for instance, has sold more than sixty million units. A&E Design has received 14 Excellent Swedish Design Awards and five red dot awards, three of which were “red dot: best of the best”.
