COR Sitzmöbel

Helmut Lübke GmbH & Co. KG

Only the best is good enough – faithful to this maxim, COR has been producing seating of the highest quality for more than 50 years. The name COR – meaning “heart” in Latin – originates from the three hearts that embellished the coat of arms of one of the company’s co-founders, the Prince of Bentheim-Tecklenburg. COR designs are up-to-date but not trendy; they are functional, unadulterated and independent-minded. Renowned designers who understand this philosophy created many forms that have become modern day classics; numerous awards are evidence of this. The ingredients of COR furniture are design, material and the most valuable that a furniture maker possesses: skilled hands. The high-quality, precision work shows in every joint. A workforce of 210 at the company’s plant in Rheda-Wiedenbrück drives the manufacturing process, which – despite mechanisation – is still rich in craftsmanship.
