Naoto Fukasawa

Naoto Fukasawa was born in the Yamanashi Prefecture in 1956 and graduated from the Tama Art University in 1980. He established Naoto Fukasawa Design in 2003. Representative works include Muji’s CD player, which is part of the permanent collection of the MoMA in New York, the mobile phones “INFOBAR” and “neon”, as well as the “±0” brand of household electrical appliances and sundries. Apart from acting in a consulting capacity for domestic companies, Naoto Fukasawa has designed products for companies in Europe, including B&B Italia, Boffi, Driade, Magis, Danese, Artemide, Swedese and Swarovski. He is a professor at Musashino Art University and a visiting lecturer at Tama Art University.
