Scientific Design

Science, environment and nature are the main focus of the studio community, Scientific Design, founded in 1990. The graduate designers Stefanie and Peer Ziegler (both AGD) and Renate Schmarewski made it their goal to raise awareness of complex issues and livable contemporary environments – based on sound didactics, exacting research and exciting design realisations. The briefs that Scientific Design accepts range from classic communication design to the specialist fields of scientific illustration, 2D/3D animation and exhibition design, as well as interactive and Web design. For the realisation of their work, Scientific Design draws on a network of freelance experts.
