Gertrud Nolte, born in 1968, studied painting at an art school and communication design under Uwe Loesch and Bazon Brock at the University of Wuppertal. She set up the “botschaft gertrud nolte” in Düsseldorf in 1995. She is a member of the ADC and the TDC New York, as well as a member of the German Liaison Committee of the TDC New York. Her “everything. except ordinary” work mainly focuses on conception, typography, poster design, advertising design, editorial design and corporate design. For the embassy for cultural, social, philosophical, political and historical enlightenment, Gertrud Nolte regularly publishes educational and awareness-raising poster editions. Her work has been honoured with international awards and features in books and exhibitions. Since 2003 she is professor for conception, design and typography in Würzburg.
