Intégral Ruedi Baur, located in Paris and Zurich, are multidisciplinary working studios founded in 1989 and in 2002. Although visual designs constitute an important part of their work, the studio’s work covers a much wider spectrum of services than this. If one wanted to define the activities by Intégral, one could say that they aim at resolving problems of identity, orientation and information. They use all applications necessary to accomplish and to optimise this. They consider the creation of concepts for exhibitions as well as museum design as special media for information transfer in which issues of orientation and identification within individual subject areas are reflected. Here the question of visual representation far exceeds the field of mere museum design in order to also include at the same time issues of perception and the topic of an urban identity. The design studio is characterised by interdisciplinary approaches in which two- and three-dimensional designs are combined to create a unity.
