Born in Dresden on 23 January 1943, studied in Düsseldorf, own studio in Düsseldorf since 1968. International reputation, especially as poster designer and corporate designer. Featured in numerous exhibitions and museums and private collections throughout the world. Several works on display at the Museum of Modern Art in New York since 1984. Appointed professor for communication design at the Bergische Universität Wuppertal in 1990. Elected to the AGI Alliance Graphique Internationale in 1989. Member of the ADC Art Directors Club for Germany and the TDC Type Directors Club New York. Main fields of activity: creative concept, text and graphic design for campaigns in all media for industry and cultural institutions, corporate design, corporate communication, consulting.
