Fons Hickmann m23 GmbH

The Berlin studio, Fons Hickmann m23, specialises in the design of complex communication systems. This field of activity encompasses the development of corporate design, book and poster design, magazine design and digital media. The studio ranks as one of the world’s most successful design studios and gained fame through its commitment to the cultural and social sphere. The works are conceptual, analytic and yet are also fun. Fons Hickmann is a professor at the University of the Arts in Berlin and the University of Applied Arts in Vienna, a member of the ADC, TDC New York and the Alliance Graphique Internationale, as well as a board member of the Designlabor Bremerhaven. The studio is headed by Markus Büsges, Fons Hickmann and Gesine Grotrian-Steinweg.
