Didier Gomez graduated from the École des Beaux-Arts in Paris in the section of architecture and presented his first collection of furniture in 1978. In 1985, he created his own interior design office and joined the architect Jean-Jacques Ory from 1994 to 2002. Returning to independence, Didier Gomez created the agencies Didier Gomez Design (D.G.D) and Didier Gomez Interior Design (D.G.I.D) in 2003. Didier Gomez designs apartments and private residences for people like Pierre Bergé and Harrison Ford. He creates head offices as well as boutiques for Yves Saint Laurent and Kenzo, commercial spaces for L’Oréal and Galeries Lafayette, and restaurants like “Le Mood” in Paris. He likes to travel and to work all around the world and loves to immerse himself in the places, experiences and sensibilities he encounters. Presently, Didier Gomez realises international Ligne Roset Stores and prepares the architectural concepts for restaurants and boutiques in Kazakhstan and Cairo.
