Results of the "interzum award: intelligent material & design 2013" - jury of experts granted top award to just nine entries
When the Koelnmesse trade fair opens its doors from 13 to 16 May 2013, the international supplier industry for the furniture and interior decorating industries will meet once again at the “interzum cologne”. The companies presenting their selection of materials, locks, light systems and much more include numerous participants in the “interzum award: intelligent material & design 2013”. The competition, which is being organised by Koelnmesse in cooperation with red dot already for the seventh time, received a total of 200 entries from 16 countries in 2013. More »

Design - consistently at the highest level: Lenovo was chosen as the "red dot: design team of the year 2013"
When it comes to the professional judgment of the latest product designs, the red dot jury proves a lot of endurance: 37 jury members of the “red dot award: product design 2013” had to assess a total of 4,662 entries. A special single award stands out every year, though. It is one of the most coveted awards in the world of design: the appointment for the “red dot: design team of the year”. In 2013, this honorary title, as announced at the Milan Design Week, goes to the Chinese computer manufacturer Lenovo for its exemplary design work, which has been internationally successful for decades.
