Exhibition: "Myths – Automobili Lamborghini" in Munich

The Neue Sammlung at the Pinakothek der Moderne in Munich presents "Myths – Automobili Lamborghini" from June 25 through July 28, 2004. The exhibition is the startup for an entire "Myths" series.

The myth of Lamborghini is traced from its early beginnings to the most recent development: from the Bertone designs by Marcello Gandini to the current interpretation of the Belgian designer Luc Donckerwolke. The meaning of the cars as design objects is the center of attention: not only as automobiles as such but, above all, the Lamborghini as the result of a design process is presented here. Therefore, the design processes like sketching and modeling move into the focus of the exhibition alongside the cars. Visitors can thus follow the creation of design sketches through projections, and the forming of the so-called clay model will be presented live.
