Trend Gallery Milan Furniture Fair

Same procedure as always: the entire international design scene and industry come together in Milan for the Salone del Mobile. Professor Dr. Peter Zec and Elmar Schüller were also there from April 14-19 and have compiled an exclusive and topical trend report for you here at red dot online.

Alongside the furniture fair itself, more than 300 events, exhibitions and shows will take place in Milan: a parcourse that can hardly be managed in its entirety. If you just want to see the best of the best, you'll have a problem choosing. Many of the big names in design will be presenting their new products in Milan: for example Ettore Sottsass, who announced five designs for the Laura Meroni Design Collection; Cappellini, who will present an expansion of the product line "Simplon" by Jasper Morrison, and Antonio Cierrio's side table "Kidd" will be on display at Flexform.
