Red Dot Award: Design Concept 2017 - Final call for submissions

The submission phase for this year’s Red Dot Award: Design Concept ends on 24 May 2017. Designers only have a few days left to put the finishing touches on their best concepts and prototypes for the submission.

The annual competition is extended to all design studios, companies, universities, research laboratories, inventors, design students and design professionals from anywhere in the world. All kinds of inventions, novelty and aesthetic designs, that are not in the market and not produced for sale before 2 July 2017, can be entered.

International support
Good design capability needs a credible promotion platform and winning a Red Dot gives designers access to international promotional opportunities that are only available for winners.

The Red Dot Award: Design Concept is the largest professional design concept competition in the world. With an international jury consisting of experts from diverse fields, the award serves as a fair, recognised, and indisputable benchmark for creativity and design excellence in the industry.

This year’s Red Dot winners will emerge from 34 concept categories and will be heralded for their outstanding design quality and excellence on 5 October 2017 at the awarding ceremony in Singapore.
