Deutsche Bank, Born05 and UDG Digital Group score in the Red Dot Award: Communication Design

The winners of the Red Dot Award: Communication Design 2016 are chosen. In 21 categories, designers, marketing experts and communication professionals could demonstrate their know-how. But only the best managed to convince the Red Dot jury. Those include the Deutsche Bank, Born05 from the Netherlands and the UDG United Digital Group.

Deutsche Bank receives Red Dot

The Deutsche Bank got a Red Dot in the category “Apps” for “Deutsche Bank Mobile”. The application rebrands mobile banking. A banking app does not need to consist of too many numbers and a quadratic layout. It does not need to remind users of an old fashioned excel-sheet. “Deutsche Bank Mobile” stands for an intuitive navigation, personalisation and innovative functions. The simple, but smart look comes along with innovative functions. Markus Pertlwieser, Chief Digital Officer, Private & Business Clients, at Deutsche Bank, says: “The new app is a key element of the digitalisation strategy for our private and business clients. Thanks to the new app we are making banking even more digital and user-friendly for our clients to round out our advisory services at our branches.”

Red Dot: Best of the Best for Born05

The agency Born05 from the Netherlands was awarded with a Red Dot: Best of the Best for the anniversary edition of the travel magazine “iFly50” from KLM Royal Dutch Airlines. For the 50th anniversary, Born05 collected fifty of the most breath-taking places on earth illustrated with photography, animations and music. Furthermore, 20 extra tasteful surprises were added that could be unlocked: video’s, audio, 360 imagery, additional photography and exclusive articles. On top of that readers could win two tickets to their favourite destination. The result: “iFly50” was the best read edition in the magazines history.

Sjors van Hoof, creative director at BORN05, on the agency's success: “iFly50 is an immersive experience. We made sure everything fit seamlessly. Design, photography, animation, music and video, it works wonderfully together. I am proud of the final result, winning the Red Dot is a wonderful reward.”

UDG United Digital Group awarded for Porsche projects

The UDG United Digital Group was awarded for two projects in the category “Online” for the Porsche AG: “The new 911 R. Principle of Purity.” and “The new 911. Ever ahead.”. In the web special “The new 911 R. Principle of Purity.” users can accompany two Porsche enthusiasts on their way to the ultimate vehicle control. “The new 911. Ever ahead.” presents the new “Nine Eleven” and sets a totally new benchmark for interactive 3D user experience in the automobile industry.
