Award presentation to the proud red dot young professionals

Big success in the promotion of upcoming talents - red dot young professionals

Being the biggest international design award, red dot supports new talents in strengthening the trust of potential clients in their creative performance. This year again, young professionals – designers who have obtained their academic qualifications within the past five years – had the chance to apply for one out of 50 free registrations to the “red dot award: product design 2012”. Besides costless participation in the competition, the young designers benefit from a free presentation of their products in the red dot design museum and the red dot design yearbook, as well as from the use of the red dot label in case of being awarded.

Within 24 hours, more than 200 creatives from 42 countries wanted to face the independent red dot jury with their products. To give out the places available for the red dot young professionals in a fair way, the participants of this promotion were drawn.

The international recognition and relevance of the red dot quality seal is particularly expressed by registrations from all over the world. This year, upcoming designers from Thailand, Indonesia or Belarus join the competition with their creative achievements.

On 2 July 2012, all creative talents which were awarded the sought-after red dot and thus gained the highest recognition within the design scene will be celebrated during the glamorous award presentation.

Still by 20 January 2012, within the regular registration period, companies and designers can submit their latest products to the “red dot award: product design 2012”.
