INHORGENTA MUNICH 2012: A trend indicator for the international industry of jewelry and watches

Munich is one of the most lively, charming and trendiest cities – and soon, Bavaria’s capital is among the world’s closely watched places: From 10 – 13 February 2012, exhibitors present exclusive and outstandingly designed watches and jewelry at the INHORGENTA MUNICH. The product range includes gems, pearls, silverware, little cases and cardboard boxes as well as workshop equipment for watchmakers, goldsmiths and jewelers. The trade fair shows the latest collections, brands and trends for the upcoming season and, due to its early date in the year, is considered to be one of the first reliable sources of inspiration and orientation for the industry. For manufacturers and designers, the INHORGENTA is the perfect place for a professional dialogue with qualified experts.

The focus is on lifestyle but individualisation also increases. Timeless designs or playful pieces of jewelry leave space for the personal touch. Colours remain a trend. Whether shining nuances like dark red, purple or soft pastel and ground colours like brown or caramel: They impart joy of life and are essential for the industry’s product design. The clever mix of materials and vintage design in a new look reveal lovingly details and are an expression of one’s own individuality. Watches have already become wearable art and the trends are versatile in this field: Classical, noble models are timeless and never go out of style. Further highlights of 2012 are sportive watches in black or white with an allover print, but also strong colours and wristwatches in a vintage look. Watches have become more than just a useful timekeeper or nice accessory: The wearer also gives a fashionable statement.

A lot of big players of the global premium segment are represented at the INHORGENTA MUNICH, where the names of the exhibitors read like the who’s who of the industry: Successful jewelry and watchmakers, including numerous red dot winners, use the drive of the international trade fair for the presentation of their latest collections.
