Good product design needs sophisticated communication
Those who want to score with smart design should focus on progressive product forms and innovative communicational works. Good product design, which proves quality and diversity, should be spread to the public – via TV commercials, appealing websites or outstanding typographies and covers. These creative campaigns are honoured within the “red dot award: communication design” – especially the “red dot: client of the year” will be celebrated for its trust in high communication design quality.
The tension continues: On 24 October 2012, the laureates of this year’s competition will be announced within the red dot gala at the Konzerthaus Berlin. 6,823 submissions from 43 nations and just 574 winners in 21 different categories – the “red dot award: communication design” is one of the world’s toughest competitions. Only the best creative achievements will be awarded with the sought-after quality seal: the “red dot”.
