Better now than never! Last chance to participate in the "red dot award: product design 2013"

The new year is only a few weeks old but companies and designers are already looking forward to the first highlight – the "red dot award: product design 2013". The Latecomers participation phase has started and innovative designs in terms of convincing new products can be registered until 6 February 2013.

From architecture projects and urban design to kitchens, from fashion and accessories to consumer electronics to information technology – the red dot jury is awaiting submissions in 19 different categories. Every single work will extensively be tested, discussed and evaluated live and on site by the international experts. The juror‘s precise handling of the products is also emphasised by Prof. Dr. Peter Zec, initiator and CEO of the red dot: "From self-employees to big corporations – they all have equal chances of being awarded. It’s strictly about the design and quality only."

Being awarded with the coveted red dot label is an accolade within the design scene. But even far beyond it, the well-respected quality seal accounts for increasing a product‘s degree of popularity because of its international reach. The red dot ensures that a brand will strongly be associated with excellent design quality.
