The search for the best visions, prototypes and concepts has begun - Red Dot Award: Design Concept 2014
Calling on design teams, designers, inventors, students, teachers, research institutes, design departments, architects, engineers and anyone with a great design idea to take notice: The Red Dot Award: Design Concept 2014 has opened with its early bird submission period lasting 29 days and ending on 29 January 2014.
With 4,394 entries submitted from 57 countries in the year 2013, the award has grown to international significance for companies, design studios, universities and designers alike.
The search for the best ideas, prototypes and concepts of the year in the Red Dot Award: Design Concept 2014 takes place with shorter submission periods this year. The result will be an earlier announcement of the year’s best design concepts, their outstanding design quality and excellence on 26 September 2014. With the shorter race set in 2014, designers, manufacturers, studios and universities from all over the world are once again invited to submit their design concepts and prototypes for the competition.
The concept categories of the Red Dot Award: Design Concept 2014 have increased to 29. The categories are deliberately kept wide to ensure that imagination is not being limited. Further information on the categories
