From 9 October 2017, designers and manufacturers from all over the world can once again take the opportunity to submit their products to the Red Dot Award: Product Design, one of the world’s largest design competitions. The registration period breaks down into three different phases. Here you can find all important information.

At the 2006 China International Industrial Design Summit, which was held in Wuxi in eastern China between 6 and 8 November, famous international design experts from all over the world – including Professor Dr. Peter Zec, president of ICSID (International Council of Societies of Industrial Design) and founder of the red dot design award – were invited to speak on topics such as design, economy and design promotion.

In a spectacular event on Friday 24 November 2006 the red dot award: design concept was awarded in the red dot design museum in Singapore. Together with numerous international guests of the design industry the proud winners celebrated at the stunning scenery of the red dot Traffic, the former police headquarters of Singapore which has been specially redesigned for the red dot design museum.
