Red Dot Award: Product Design 2018 – Fair adjudication of the products live and on site

Manufacturers and designers can enter their best products at the regular rate up until 16 January 2018. “Latecomers” still have until 9 February to register. In March 2018, the jury members will convene for an adjudication process spanning several days in order to test and assess the products.

Until the 6. October 2013 the exhibition “Red Dot Baltic Sea Trans” presents Red Dot Design Award winners, which are domiciled around the Baltic Sea. More than 30 products were assembled to cover different fields of interest: The Eva Solo XO Collection grater is exhibited as a kitchen utensil, which captivates not only through functionality, but also through aesthetic design and was therefore honoured by the Red Dot jury.

Red Dot in Berlin: On 17 October 2013, Red Dot is organising a conference entitled “Success by Game Design – Transmedia Challenges and Potentials” in Café Moskau in Berlin. The aim of the convention is to explain the economic and cultural potentials of the gaming industry across markets and to allow these potentials to be exploited. At the event, the game design expert Prof. Dr. Linda Breitlauch will accompany the participants and guests through the areas of gamification, serious games, technology transfer and transmedia.

The ticket sale for the legendary Designers‘ Night has started! On 18 October 2013 it is finally time again: The elite of the design industry gets together to celebrate the winners of the annual Red Dot Award: Communication Design in the metropolis of creativity: Berlin. At first, during the festive Red Dot Gala, the bests of the competition receive their thought-after trophies on stage of the impressive Konzerthaus Berlin. Afterwards, the evening continues at the Designers‘ Night in the centrally located Umspannwerk Alexanderplatz: At this venue, laureates, jury members and design enthusiasts will celebrate the highlight of this year`s competition until the wee hours.
