On 6 December 2017, designers who have graduated within the past five years have the chance to apply for one of 50 free registration places. If they win an award, the young professionals benefit from extensive and free measures.

This year, the Singapore Ministry of Information, Communication and Art will for the third time award the President’s Design Award to national designers who have with their work contributed considerably to establishing the Singapore design industry on an international scale. Design expert and Icsid president Professor Dr. Peter Zec, who is the initiator of the red dot design award and has also been successful with the red dot Singapore since last year, was invited as chairman of the jury for product and industrial design.

Results of the red dot award: communication design 2007 The results of the red dot award: communication design 2007 have been finalised: 3,880 entries from 34 nations were examined for outstanding design quality by this year’s jury consisting of twelve international design experts. Three-hundred and thirty-six works received an award, twentyseven of them a red dot: best of the best for particularly groundbreaking design achievements.

1,600 luxury kitchens for “City of Arabia“ The oldest German furniture manufacturer landed an attractive million dollar contract in the Gulf region. Starting 2008, Poggenpohl will furnish 1,600 apartments of the residential area Wadi Walk, a part of the City of Arabia, with high-end, minimalist kitchens.
