Meuse Fondation at the red dot design museum

Members of the non-profit Meuse Fondation (Maastricht) paid a working visit to the red dot design museum on January 24, 2004. This foundation organizes a visit to a European city or region each year with the goal being to get to know interesting developments in industry, urban planning and culture on site.

The participating executives from public offices, companies and organizations are currently dealing with the transformation of old industrial areas in Maastricht. Set against this background, Elmar Schüller's lecture (managing director red dot) with information about the red dot design museum, the red dot award and the Zeche Zollverein as a design conurbation stood at the center of the discussions. The development of the Design Zentrum Nordrhein Westfalen served as a model for the establishment and expansion of a new economic area based on the vision for a location.
