Wood Processing Forum in Dornbirn

The forum "New Approaches in Wood Processing. Production – Marketing – Design" will take place on June 22, 2004 at the Kulturhaus in Dornbirn, Austria. In addition, more than 20 exhibitors will present current product and technology developments pertaining to the subject of wood processing in a special exhibition.


The speakers come from Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Among others, Nils Holger Moormann will lecture about the subject "Of potato steamers, design hodgepodge and grave crosses". Other experts will have their say, too: the forum comprises the fields "Production optimization – Efficient design of value processes", "New markets – Strategies and opportunities" and "Design as a success factor". Reports from the wood industry about the use of innovative developments from engineering, automation and logistics for optimizing production and about methods for improving internal processes are all part of the agenda. New customer-friendly approaches to attractive design and successful market development will be presented especially from the trades. The forum addresses small and medium sized companies, trade companies and the research in the appropriate sectors.
