Trade Show "Maison&Objet" in Paris

From September 3-7, 2004, everything in Paris will revolve around interior design, decoration, gifts and dining culture during the trade show "Maison&Objet".

3,000 exhibitors, 150 nations, 67,000 purchasers – the Maison&Objet is not only a major event for interior design and lifestyle, but it has also experienced a remarkable increase in international participation. Next year, the trade show will celebrate its 10th anniversary. The Maison&Objet is structured into various categories. "Ethnic chic mix", "Home Accessories", "Textile", "La table" (The Table), "L'espace" (The Space), and "Côté déco" (Decoration) are their titles. An entire hotel will be set up in the trade show area: titled "Chambres avec vue" (Rooms with a View), an entire environment is to be created representing the various areas of a luxury hotel. A total of 40 designers exhibiting at the trade show will present the various parts of a dream hotel. Visitors to the trade show will be able to explore the designers' ideas on their own, from the lobby to the bar to luxurious bathrooms and suites.

In addition, "Scènes d'interieur" (Interior Scenes) will show interior design and exclusive style. The most recent developments from Asia can be found here: 8 designers will represent these developments in interior design from Japan, Thailand, Korea, China and Hong Kong. Traditional Asian crafts and extreme modernism merge into a creative and aesthetic form of expression. With "Now! design à vivre" (Design for Living) the exhibitors explore cutting-edge trends, innovations and the young generation of designers.
