red dot in Tokyo

The enthusiasm of Asians for the red dot design award continues: after two special exhibitions with the competition's award winners took place last year in Seoul and Tokyo upon the invitation of the local design institutions, the red dot design award enjoyed being a guest in Tokyo once again.

The Japanese Industrial Design Promotion Organization JIDPO had invited red dot to present itself as an international design competition with a small special exhibition from August 26-28, 2004 within the framework of the Good Design Award Presentation 2004. The Good Design Award is a national award that exclusively addresses Japanese designers and companies.

In a lecture, Professor Dr. Peter Zec, the initiator of the red dot design award, presented the competition to the professional audience with representatives from the industry and the design industry.
